Receiving straw bales!!

I was lucky to find a farmer with a field of wheat within 20 miles of my site.  He baled the straw and stored it for me.  I took delivery while the guys were on their Christmas break!  499 bales, enough plus a little extra just in case, stored in my barn on pallets.

Above Ground Piers (9/5/12 - 9/25/12)

Setting the sono tubes and all the Simpson bolts, brackets etc., all "plumb and in line" took awhile but I have an awesome crew, so thanks to Johnny and Chris - it's perfect.  Then on the day the concrete and pump trucks came, my family came out to help!  Many thanks to my sister, Nancy, her husband, Chuck, and cousins, Margaret and Joe.  Yea!

the pump truck was really cool to see on the site!
